We have developed this area to provide you with a quick look at some of the many awards our students have received for their Artistic achievements. The students you find listed here entered competitions sponsored by various groups and organizations. The honors they recieved are the result of their improved skills after attending private art classes at Aurora Images Art Studio.
We celebrate these achievments and we believe each and every one of our students is destined for greatness!!

Shreya won the Award of Excellence at the school level and the Award of Merit at the Council level for her Reflections entry! Congratulations, Shreya!!

We are very excited!!!! Aurora Images Art Studio student, Rohith, won the Award of Excellence in the 2010-2011 Reflections Art Competition and will now be moving on to state. The theme of this years event - "Together we can.....". Rohith's project focuses on the natural habitat in Alaska and how "Together we can" protect the habitat and the wildlife. Congratulations Rohith! We are very proud of you!!!

Shreya was honored at the Council Level with an award for her painting in the Reflections Competition, PISD Council of PTAs with chief guest Mike Simpson, Executive Director, The Arts of Collin County held on April 14, 2010.
Shreya also recently won Honorable Mention at the Plano Profile Magazine Art Contest. Her Art work will be featured in the July 2010 Plano Profile Magazine.

| Lyndsey – Won the Silver medal for her perspective rendition at the Jr. V.A.S.E. Competition, 2009-2010 school year, McKinney ISD, TX

| Lyndsey received a 4 (study of Expressionism) in the 2008-2009 Jr V.A.S.E., McKinney ISD.

Marina won 1st place in the 2010 State Fair of Texas Art Competition for her Vignette Watercolor Landscape. She also won 1st place for her Acrylic Pop Art Sunflowers.
Marina won 1st place in the Acrylics category for ages 12-17 at the State Fair of Texas 2009 for her acrylic painting of the Washington State Rainforest. (shown)

Rohith received the Award of Honor in the “Reflections” Competition, State level, 2009-2010 School Year, Frisco ISD, TX for his Acrylic Pop Art painting “4 Seasons”, and this painting hung in the State Capital for month.

Connie won 1st place in the Oils category for Adults at the State Fair of Texas 2009 for her oil painting of “Mother and Child on the Beach”

Raina received a 4 for a Black and White cut paper and colored pencil piece in the V.A.S.E. competition, 2009-2010 school year, Lovejoy ISD, TX. This piece went on to the State Level.
Raina - Received the Award of Merit in the “Reflections” Competition, District level, 2008-2009 School Year, Allen ISD, TX for her Acrylic Painting “The Challenge”
Raina - Also received a 4 for a Polymer clay sculpture of a Dragon Claw Clutching an Emu Eggshell in the V.A.S.E. competition, 2008-2009 school year, Allen ISD, TX. This piece went on to the State Level.
