My husband is a retired police officer and he is also a 32^nd Degree Mason. Recently he expressed a desire to have a painting commemorating his 27 years of service in law enforcement and his retirement. This gave me an idea which launched me into an entirely new area of creativity.

I created a Celtic version of the Mason Square and Compass in acrylics on a 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas. My husband and I then donated the painting to the Plano Masonic Lodge to be hung in their Library/Museum.  (Image #2)

Then I created a painting for my husband’s home office wall. I incorporated his Police Retirement Badge and overlaid the image of the Mason Square and compass embellishing it with Celtic knots. (Image #1)

We are now in the process of creating numerous designs where we will incorporate professional symbols and logos with the Mason Square and compass. These paintings are an excellent gift idea for Mason’s and Professionals.
